Warriors Axe is good for a particular late-game build. Take Hunter's Cowl if you intend to be very aggressive in the lane in the beginning. Otherwise stick with Benevolence or Sentinel's Gift.
This is the better build in my opinion. Throwing in a Quin'Sais will give Danza an extra kick to his auto attacks. But topping it off with Axe of Animosity can actually make you a threat in and off itself in the late game; hard to kill, ranged autos, and you can poke out a good number unless you're focused down.
If you have no intention on giving lots of damage or being aggressive, this may be the better build.
But at that point you may as well play a damn Khepri.
Prophetic Cloak is honestly a must-have. Not just on Danza support but any Hunter support really. Due to having ranged autos, its extremely easy to stack, and you could get 15 stacks before even rotating to mid if you're careful. Its too simple to stack and gives a good too many benefits for you not to pick this up.
Thebes, because its Thebes.
Shoguns Kasari is a bit dubious in its 'necessity' but being a hunter support you're going to want to shoot out autos frequently, as the benefit of being a hunter support is their poke and their ability to keep distance and not be forced to dive or commit to anything to deal damage or crowd control. Its replicable, but I recommend throwing it on any build even if you don't intend to go bruiser.
I recommend going Archdruid as a default, but if you are having specific difficulties, I recommend replacing it or your second-to-last item with one of these.
Contagian, Toxic, or Pest are good picks for anti-heal, depending on the comp or who is giving you more trouble.
If you're getting locked down with CC a lot, Spirit Robes would be a good pick up.
Spectral Armor if you're dealing with crits and they're penetrating most of your protections.
Danza Support is all about his 2 placement and harassing opponents with your 1, and when possible, slowing them by positioning your 3 around them, or ahead of them.
You're a very mobile support, able to use your abilities to allow other players to escape or for yourself to escape. The narrow paths in the jungle let you cover it with your 2 and create an escape route for your allies, or yourself. It can also be used to preemptively prevent ganks. Additionally, it can punish aggressions on your allies or yourself by placing it at your feet, allowing you to turn an engagement around with the 2's CC.
As a hunter support, the enemy team is likely not to respect you. This can be to an advantage as you can bait an enemy to jump on you on your terms. However it can also mean that you get dived every opportunity they get, putting you terribly behind, as the build proposed relies on you getting a good amount of stacks.
In the laning phase, just play like a normal hunter; hit minions, aggress, and just leave last hits to the real hunter. Use your 2 to peel aggressions or to zone them from doing so, and use your 1 to clear or punish aggressive laners. You should be able to out-clear most opponents like this.
In the mid game you're focused on getting stacks; harassing enemies with your autos to stack Prophetic's Cloak and getting Thebes stacked while laning with your allies. At this stage its make or break whether the build kicks off or if you start having trouble; if the enemy isn't letting you get those stacks, you're going to have a harder time tanking for your allies.
If you manage to either get your Thebes fully stacked or move into your Shogun's Kasari with little trouble, you should be in a good spot. At that point you're just flowing with your team. You can engage from a distance, or follow up on your teammates engage with your CC, or jumping in and eating abilities while your teammates clean up behind you. Typical support stuff.
By the late game, especially if you went the Bruiser Build I recommended and went into Axe of Animosity, you'll be tearing it up. Enemy supports won't be able to step up to you and you'll be tanky enough to withstand engagements full on.
