I'm new to smite so I was just wondering about when should I sell the boots

Once you progress to 5th item, you can then sell your blessing for a 6th item. Then, later when you have enough gold, buy elixir of speed, and sell boots to buy a 7th item (only once you have enough gold to buy the tier 3, otherwise dont sell your boots yet).

pretty much after you got your 6 items including boots (no blessing) and got enough for a potion of speed and usually your full 7th item, although sometimes the tier 2 item stats may be beneficial at that point making it possible to swap it then. Do keep in mind most non tier 3 items won't compete with the stats shoes provide.

SmiteFire & Smite

Smite is an online battleground between mythical gods. Players choose from a selection of gods, join session-based arena combat and use custom powers and team tactics against other players and minions. Smite is inspired by Defense of the Ancients (DotA) but instead of being above the action, the third-person camera brings you right into the combat. And, instead of clicking a map, you use WASD to move, dodge, and fight your way through the detailed graphics of SMITE's battlegrounds.
