If you get poked hard and dont feel the need to level Flutter secound, switch it with Share The Love, to get more lane healing. so you have 1 point Flutter, and 5 points Shared The Love, before you finish off Flutter.

Ive tested Cupid in all thise roles over the last few days, and iv'e had much success with him, at least 80% win rate over my last 20 games since i made this build.
I don't play high MMR ranked so it might not work well in high ranked games.
Build takes advantage from Berserker Shield + Asi at early levels, giving cupid extreme power, attack speed and lifesteal under 40% HP. We stack full attackspeed to get 2.5 cap, and get at much power from Silverbranch, with results in:
Attackspeed cap, 2.5.
324 Power with Berserker shield.
20% Lifesteal (50% with Asi).
40% Armor Penetration.

Only on High attack speed steroid gods would you get silverbranch right after Asi.
Also fix your levelling order. You put all the levelling points for the 2 into the 3...

Keep in mind, at level 20, all gods have at least 60-80 physical protection (depending on god), without item support. That's just inherent protection. 20% pen would be 12 flat pen at the low end, which is not bad at all, and then it has the other stats which make it strong.
Then we consider that % pen has been reinstated to affect structures, and so really helps with that damage, as well as to the other objectives like FG, GF, etc.
If you're finding that you have too much AS, there are plenty of other options that you can sub. I understand personal preference, but I think you're missing out if you're skipping Ata. Feel it should be basically core, no matter the enemy comp.
I mean, you're building Qin's no matter what, and that's specifically more effective against tanks, so why the hesitation with Ata?
I've been playing him quite a bit too, and doing a Trans-Crit hybrid build mostly...Trans, Ninja, Rage, Ata, Malice, WD for example. Mysterion also asked me to try a Fail-Not rush (Trans, Tabi, Fail first 3 items), which felt pretty nice too.
Cupid isn't the best boxer. He's got his inherent passive steroid from the 3, but 2 of his abilities don't deal any damage. I personally try when possible to avoid straight boxing, and doing more poking until they're lower in health, at which point I'll commit. Other hunters have better kits for 1v1. I find that I can avoid having to get
I DO like the Berserker's rush idea for a boxing build though against another hunter.
