Introduction

Ganesha is OP if you have any assistance at all. With this build he will do very good damage. The goal is to grab the enemy on the edge of your alt which can easily kill any squishy god, and make it very easy for your team to finish off any tanky god.

I can see you doing good damage with the build, but as you say this is designed for Joust, I feel you're doing your team a disservice by not being tankier (unless you're playing him as a substitute bruiser mage of sorts and you have a separate, dedicated tank).

I'm perfectly fine with starting Guardian's Blessing, Shoes of Focus, and Void Stone against 2 magical gods. I do feel Mantle of Discord at that point is a bit on the expensive side, but if you and your team are ahead, sure, it can work.

I'm more okay with the physical build, but still have some of the same reservations. I just don't like seeing full offense items like Soul Reaver on most guardians. And there's no counter-building options at all.

Your brief writeup also makes it sound like your main target is to quickly take down front-line tanks by holding them in your ult. But you barely have enough protections and added health to survive burst if the other two enemies have good damage, while you're holding them still with Remove Obstacles.

In the end, I'm not saying this can't work, and if you're playing with 2 other good players and have great teamwork, sure, it can wreck, there's no denying that. I guess I might be more of a traditionalist here, and would prefer to see options to be tankier / have better survivability.

Thank you branmuffin17 for your feed back. I agree with what your saying about being more tanky and your absolutely right some games I do have to leave out a item or two and make room for another defensive. This build of course requires your team to be able to do there part in putting out the damage and I bank on that. But alot of times im caught with atleast one player not doing there part and that's where I like to be able to make up for that with my extra damage. But hey the best part about ganesha is that he has that silence and his grab/dash to get away quick. I do pretty well with this build but appreciate any more feedback you may have. Thanks

Well that's a good explanation. Adding some counter-build items to your item listing would be good, or perhaps offering your damaging builds + examples of tankier ones would be nice to see, but I can understand your intent.
