Introduction

Hello and welcome to my Sol build guide for ADC. This isn't an in-depth guide. Sol is my favorite ADC. This build has been used by a lot of professionals and it has worked really good for me. I hope it works for you too.

Items

Item One

I go with Shoes of the Magi first because it gives a better power spike early game than the Shoes of Focus.

Item Two

Second I would go with Book of Thoth because it gives 125 Mana, 15 MP5, and 100 Magical Power. It also has 75 stacks which are very easy to build since you're in lane alone 85% of the time. For each stack you gain 10 Mana and also 3% of your Mana is converted to Magical Power.

Item Three

Next I get Demonic Grip. It gives you Magical Power and Attack Speed. Basic attacks reduce Magical Penetration by 12% for 3 seconds at a max of 3 stacks.

Item Four

Next item is Polynomicon. The lifesteal this item provides gives Sol a lot of sustain for lane presence. It gives 75 Magical Power, 10% Magical Lifesteal, and 300 Mana, but the passive is the best thing about it. Using an ability gives your next basic attack within the next 8s +75% of your Magical Power as additional Magical Damage. The effect can only apply once every 3s.

Item Five

I like going with Shard because it is the best pen item in my opinion.

Item Six

Rod of Tahuti is probably the best Magical Power item in the game. It gives you an unreal 125 Magical Power with a passive that gives you 25% More Power.

Pros / Cons

Pros
High single target damage
High Mobility
Sustain with Radiance
Not that Mana hungry uf you don't spam abilities.

Cons
Squishy
Ult can be hard to master.
Very bad against CC.

Summary

Sol has tons of potential and can be very destructive in teamfights, especially after obtaining her core items. Sol's abilities can make her quite bursty if needed, and her strong AA allows her to remain useful in teamfights even when her skills are on cooldown. Sol is a very good god and can be played in Mid Lane or Carry. She can destroy and team if played right.

Just a quick statement on it says reduce magical penetration but it's suppose to say reduce magical protections. Just to get it out there.

Hey overld, in the tooltip it does say magical protection when I look at it...not sure what you're seeing...?

Edit: oh sorry, I guess you mean the guide, lol.

For starter item get soul stone instead of vampiric shroud, and never couple obsidian shard with demonic grip it just cancels each other out. For 5th item get rod of tahuti and for 6th item get spear of desolation. This is coming from a diamond Sol by the way, also you should explain her abilities and how to use them considering this is supposed to be a guide.

Having demonic grip and obsidian together doesn't necessarily cancel them out, it's just more of a diminishing returns thing. It's still nice to have both if you need to shred people AND objectives though. I'm also a diamond Sol and have done similar builds to this. Sometimes I put soul reaver on the end instead for the ability chunk passive because desolation is too expensive. Looking forward to season 4 to see what other items might benefit her too, though.

Agreed...it's not optimal, per se, but this can work for as well...and although you get diminishing returns, it's HUGE damage against heavy tanks, combined with the enhanced damage to objectives.

Alright thanks for tips dude but this is just what works for me. And yeah it is an unfinished guide.
