Smite is an online battleground between mythical gods. Players choose from a selection of gods, join session-based arena combat and use custom powers and team tactics against other players and minions. Smite is inspired by Defense of the Ancients (DotA) but instead of being above the action, the third-person camera brings you right into the combat. And, instead of clicking a map, you use WASD to move, dodge, and fight your way through the detailed graphics of SMITE's battlegrounds.
SMITEFire is the place to find the perfect build guide to take your game to the next level. Learn how to play a new god, or fine tune your favorite SMITE gods’s build and strategy.

@YoBoi, the first item is Mage's Blessing, an item that will be sold and replaced late game.
@Alex, these builds seem okay to me overall. One item you might consider is Spear of the Magus in any of your builds, as it's great with Fleeting Breath and Empty the Crypts.
In Arena, I might also recommend getting Chronos' Pendant earlier. It really helps being able to spam your abilities as early as possible...and it gets your ult back more quickly to help with gank attempts. I'd possibly suggest it before Spear of Desolation. Make up for the loss of pen by getting Shoes of the Magi instead of Shoes of Focus, pick up the blue mana buff when possible for that easy 10% CDR, and mid-game, get a Potion of Magical Might if you feel comfortable with it.
