Recommended to get robes in most cases if you are the only one frontlining in joust (which I often am), but Magi and Ichiavial can both be great alternatives either to CC heavy teams or if you feel tanky enough, ichavial can really help you.
Sell boots for elixir of speed and one of these items depending on if you need more CC, more damage, or reduce their healing if you don't have anyone else on your team to get anti-heal.
Would recommend Nemean for AA Crit Gods. Mid can also work against some normal AA gods.
This combo is straight savage in Joust for me. I have been slapping people with it.
Boots help you return faster to a fight, love them for that plus the mp5 is really nice at first on erlang.
The crusher works so well with your kit it's so incredibly essential.
Stonecutters lets you stay up on a target especially after minks hastened boost. Recommended to pair up with another physical damage dealer in your comp to help synergize your things together, your protection shreds will be nice for both of you.
Void and Ancile are just really nice, love them both for some good protections, more protection shred and also silence is really nice against a lot of mages when you jump on them.
Currently sitting at above a 70% winrate at the time of writing this guide with Erlang using this buildout, having a blast testing it out.

I might consider adding in warrior tabi as an option. I am going to continue with using Talaria for a little bit and will test out Warrior as well soon. I can certainly see warrior being a good option, but for my playstyle I like having the increased MS over the other boots, faster recall times, and MP5.
This might change once I get used to his abilities more and get better at mana conservation, but with Joust and always having teamfights going on, I like being able to return to fights faster to reduce exp loss and stay topped up easier. I have tried warriors once or twice and find that I am returning back much more often because of mana problems, and that I can't get back to help my team as fast without Talaria.
I can certainly respect warrior though, this is actually the first person I have really used Talaria on in Joust, and think it works well with his kit anyways. But this is one of the first times I have posted a guide and I am rather noobish so I might just be over-emphasizing Talaria as well, which I can certainly see.
Kind Regards,
Mastemine
I would typically choose Warrior myself with this build setup, but I can see the use of Talaria, and the reasoning for the MP5 is valid.
Am I not allowed to make suggestions or something? If you yourself would get warrior, why am i in the wrong for telling the author to consider warrior tabi as an option? I never said his choosing talaria was invalid.
It's context and word choice. The way this reads, you're telling him to do it, not suggesting it.
"I understand you prefer Talaria, but you might consider adding Warrior as an option."
That's a suggestion.
"Wasn't looking to be mean". You Don't need to justify yourself. You've been my friend long enough. Speak your mind freely, i won't take offense.
