Notes Stone cutting sword is nice for mainly physical protection in fights of 3.
Masamune is good for group fights with 4-5 hostiles.
Runic shield is for mainly Magic protection. Other option could be Ancile.
Use either one based on engagement.

I haven't played Kali yet and haven't looked up her kit/mechanics yet, but from your comment it seemed like the only issue you had was no boots. Assuming that the other items fit with her kit and it being arena, it COULD probably work if they put masa or scs as the second item, but it would bog down their early game and unless they played it pretty close to the vest until the second sword was completed, then it would probably be ugly.

The katanas just got movement speed nerfs, skipping boots is no longer valid. As for the items listed you don’t really get much defense items on Kali, you don’t really build Jotunn’s on her, and masamune is not a good item for her, there’s just much better options.

when I looked katana still had the 10% speed so that with the other sword would only be 1% bms difference, but I tend to agree in general since it slows down the build.

Boots are better for early ms because they're cheaper than HS so you can get them online quicker. I wouldn't call this a troll build, but it's not a very good one either.

yeah, wasn't saying I thought it was good, just that it Could possibly work if they bought the second sword right after katana and then really played conservatively until after both were online. From what I have read so far her early/mid game are not all that great so you'd have to do that anyways if that is true. I also mentioned that I agreed in general with getting the boots because I feel it slows down your build going that route. Also, the two swords go from being slightly below standard ms with boots because of the nerf to scs(and masa if you went that route)
