I typically go Traveler's for the movement
I usually go Witchblade or Winged Blade
Once you get Elixir of Speed, you can sell Traveler's Shoes and get Oni Hunter's Garb or Witchblade.
I normally go Heavenly Wings and Magic Shell

I think going with Guardian's Blessing, even in non-conquest, is functional for a god like Fafnir that has weak clear. I'm in agreement there.
I am mostly wondering why you're prioritizing such high MS (shoes + Bumba's Mask), and it looks like you're getting Bumba's early. MS is nice on anyone, but you're not only choosing Traveler's Shoes in your example build, but making yourself more squishy early before even getting any protections. He's got solid mobility in his Underhanded Tactics, along with the ability to become immune during the Dragonic Corruption transformation, and THEN he gets an additional leap after the transformation. I just don't see that this is necessary, OR a good idea...you want to be TANKIER in a Support role, not squishier.
The rest of your items are okay...Gauntlet is always a solid balanced protection item. Spirit Robe is great once you have some protections online...don't necessarily see the need for both Spirit AND mantle (neither of which provide health). You do have some counter item options which might be a better choice depending on enemy comp...but overall, just not sure why you itemize like that.
Then you get Winged Blade, further adding to your MS...and again, as a tanky god, slows aren't your biggest worry...but situationally I can see it.
As for your skill leveling, since this is non-conquest, why wouldn't you put a point into all 3 skills to start? On certain gods, I can see doing this, if the 3rd skill isn't all that useful early, but that leap IS potentially functional. After level 4, I'm fine with the skill leveling.
So, I *typically* use this in the mess that is arena. I need to add in the build where I go Bumba's Mask after Gauntlet of Thebeds and Spirit Cloak. But, with my play style I like to be aggressive once both Bumba's and Thebes are online on CC heavy gods (looking at you Kumbhakarna). I'm an xbox player and many people on xbox aren't...well...prone to picking at your weakness in builds, so I have found much success in this build in the casual environment.
As for leveling order, I loosely picked random things.
I usually put a point into the three at rank 3. I shall change that soon!
Winged Blade helps counter the silly amount of slows from Gem of Isolation or slow heavy gods, so I pick that up when I see it as a viable counter.
As for Mantle of Discord I just like the high base protections, the cc immunity, the stun and the cool down. I find cool down to make ***bha great (I know this is on Fafnir, but I do state I put it together on him first...may way of thanking the dragon for his service.)
But all in all, the build is just an, "I want to be annoying and have fun with it" type thing.
I'll make much more serious builds in the on coming future :)
*Also, side-note, I know this build does not always work. But when it does it is so much fun. But I do know it isn't viable in most instances and especially not in ranked. In ranked I have much more defensive builds.*
Edit; Fixed the leveling priority.
Your explanations give me better context to understand how/what you're doing. I'm going to assume, based on playing on XBox, that your higher speed makes it a huge pain for people to accurately target you, which in a way is a defense of its own. I can't aim worth **** on a controller.
I am fine with Winged as a situational pickup, I was just less okay with it being in the example build due to Faf's mobility and the already high MS.
But in all, once you hit publish again, I think the general concept is fine...definitely off-meta, but clarifying it's for modes like Arena helps.
And yes, I didn't know that. I shall fix it now! Also, yes, on console it is much harder to hit someone moving the speed of sound! But yea, it isn't a serious build and it really is a lot of fun with CC heavy gods!
