With this build, youre basically focussing on your speed instead of damage or defence, once you get your build to the witchblade, try to pick up a speed buff, and harass the enemy team. Your main damage is going to come from the "Trident" skill, the other 2 are simply there for escaping or the CC to add. You do not have any penetration in this build, but your basic attack speed makes up for it, and it will eventually kill a tank or other character with defence. Things like the order of the demonic grip and the telkhines ring can be switched, depending on how much money you have when youre about to leave the base, it doesn't matter that much. Youre not going to do mass amounts of damage, but still you can hit 150-250 each basic attack lategame, that is with 2 times the speed of chronos, Nobody will be able to escape from you, or actually damage you.
Q: No Polynomicon or Gem of Isolation in this build?
A: Polynomicon isn't going to do much in this build, I've tried it myself and the telkhines ring does more damage than it, plus the consistency.
As for the Gem of Isolation, yes it works great on the whirlpool with poseidon, but you cant rely on the whirlpool for damage, it won't be enough. Simply replacing the Gem of Isolation with a demonic grip, will give you the extra attack speed, which synergises with the hastened fatalis, and allows you to miss a few basic attacks and still keep the movement speed debuff away.

I made an account just to say that!
Definitely a +1 from me!
Since you are aiming for attack speed you'll be mainly using your main instead of skills! So forget Boots of Focus and go for Boots of Magi. Also, IMHO no mage should ever leave home (or his Well, whatever) without his rod of mass destruction (a.k.a. Rod of Tahuti). Take out his Telekinisis Ring, since it is not gonna aid a lot in lategame, and go for it the pink rod.
Otherwise a VERY interesting build, can't say I wouldn't have fun with it :P
Since basically all your damage is comming from your trident, and you cant kill without it, i myself prefer the cooldown boots, since youre basically hitting 150's, you'll do about 100's to tanks, since you've reached the soft cap, but the attack speed makes up for it, so theres no real need to. Same goes for Rod of Tahuti, the 25% increase doesnt do much as you'll be on about 200 power.
Otherwise a VERY interesting build, can't say I wouldn't have fun with it :P
