Smite is an online battleground between mythical gods. Players choose from a selection of gods, join session-based arena combat and use custom powers and team tactics against other players and minions. Smite is inspired by Defense of the Ancients (DotA) but instead of being above the action, the third-person camera brings you right into the combat. And, instead of clicking a map, you use WASD to move, dodge, and fight your way through the detailed graphics of SMITE's battlegrounds.
SMITEFire is the place to find the perfect build guide to take your game to the next level. Learn how to play a new god, or fine tune your favorite SMITE gods’s build and strategy.

1) you need penetration otherwise, most of your damage gets soaked up by enemy protections
2) you need items that maximize your dps (qins sais OR some Crit items, one of them being deathbringer). It's good you included attack speed items with qin's sais, as that maximizes the dps of qin's.
In good faith, I will give an upvote and a rep, but we still have a long way to go. Looking forward to further open minded discussions with you.
nothing a Note won;t fix
wheras Luka has Short Bow
Spiked Gauntlet is preferred as it provides lifesteal and power. Transcendence requires you to pick up Asi for lifesteal which nullifies the need for his steroid.
Continuing the thread here since replies are disabled.
Luka, you're going around in circles and not answering the question.
Devampi and I are asking you, "WHY do you think it doesn't have to be a main build item, when it has a very high dps value when coupled with high attack speed"
Saying, "because it doesn't have to be a main build item" does NOT answer our question.
As of right now, at least for a god like Rama, if you don't go crits, then Qin's is a core item.

Read this and then give me a summary on what you learned.
The builds are looking better, with the inclusion of The Executioner (mandatory), but you're missing the DPS option.
Either pick Qin's Sais OR some crit items in your build (one of them being Deathbringer)
Read (don't skim), that guide I linked and try again.
The executioner is mandatory on a hunter.
Qins/Crit also is mandatory on adc to maintain dps.
We gave you our advice. If you want to follow it, great. If not, good luck winning your games, especially against more skilled players.
I said I wasn't going to comment on Luka's builds anymore, but I'll just add a bit of info.
Luka, The Executioner is NOT what would be considered an "alternative" or "optional" item in most senses for any basic attacking hunter build. Consider at the end that even squishy gods typically have around 70 physical protection WITHOUT items when they reach level 20.
At max stacks, 36% protection reduction on 70 physical protection is the equivalent of 25 penetration. That 25 penetration is higher than any flat penetration item.
On top of that, it's superior to pen in the sense that it reduces the enemy's protections, so any other physical damage god on your team will also see the benefit and additional damage output while that debuff is active.
So you indicating that it is an alternative item, instead of a 100% CORE item, means you don't understand its effectiveness, and this makes the build suffer.
As for the rest...well, Rama isn't a Transcendence god. He's a pure Devo's god. He's a true basic attacker, and not particularly mana hungry, so Trans is somewhat wasted on him outside the power contribution. Getting Devo's means you get early sustain and you don't need to get Asi mid-game, which allows you to focus on other items earlier.
Then you have other items in the "alternative" group that are just not suited for his use. Fail-Not is a functional item in a crit build, when the god is more ability-reliant (thus capably using the 20% CDR). In addition, the bonus passive effect is best when you're still near enemies after you ult. Yes, that situation can happen if you use his ult to keep you away from damage for a short time, but often you should be using it to snipe retreating enemies. Enemies that are RUNNING AWAY, because they're hurt and don't want to die. Which means after you land, you won't be applying the passive's effect to them.
IMO The Crusher is also an awkward choice for him. I'm not sure how the passive damage bonus applies to all of his abilities, but I think there are better options. If you keep it, though, that's fine.
Unfortunately, the best build for him is a cookie-cutter type build. Devo's, Warrior, O-Bow, Exe, Qin's, situationals, or Devo's, Ninja, Rage, Exe, DB, situationals would be common paths. And you don't need to blast his build with AS, because he's got a pretty strong steroid in his kit.
What is your reasoning behind not putting Crits or Qin's Sais as a mandatory item?
Anything in my alternative list
why qin's can be switched
Also, don't you "easy,Boog" me!
In the case of low physical protections (which a competent tank will pretty much have immediately making this a rare occurence) on the enemy it;s even worth to delay The Executioner for Qin's Sais as the DPS increase will be pretty big against their hp pools
crit builds suffer this less as they get their damage source slightly earlier.
So feel wise qins Damage increase has a better feel then exe and in certain scenerio's it is gonna outshine exe.
it helps your physical team mate, yeah mostly the warrior's since most assassins will be flanking and diving a backline you are not able to hit yet.
