Build Summary

Starter Items

Notes I highly recommend Warrior's Axe for her start. It completes her build late game, which is where you'll need the % damage most. Sentinel's works on her but doesn't really suit her imo. I think its just best to take the hit on some XP gains in the laning phase for a build more oriented to her style of play later.

Notes This is my usual go-to build. Minor variations can include Mail of Renewal in replacement of Stone of Gaia, or Relic Dagger/Witchblade in replacement of Winged Blade. Final item I go for a power item just to keep in line with the theme of the Warrior's Tabi, so I put on a Stone-Cutting Katana to help remove and add some more protections to Serqet.

Ares | Even

While its true that Ares can effectively shut down two abilities while laning, you still have your 2 available by the time chains become an issue. You can half the efficiency of the Ares' chain-flame combo by landing your 2 to interrupt the flames, which means you can turn it around with your ADC to knock him out, or force him to retreat. This removes his main clear ability and lets you put pressure back in the lane. However, a good Ares will be play a bit safer, and if your 2 is down and you get chained, you're down for the count. Still, because of the threat of your 2 interrupting and turning around an aggression on Ares, I would say his threat evens out. Be careful for the chains, but don't be afraid to threaten your 2. Just be a bit more conservative with it while laning.

Core Items

Notes These items are IMO core to her kit. Sledge because it provides a big hefty amount of stats with protections. Helps with laning and survivability. Thebes because you're the support. The axe because I feel it best suits her style of play when upgraded to Sundering in the late game, and Warrior's Tabi to help you give more of a punch in the early game.
