This is my recommended start. He needs the pots early on to keep up with the laning phase.
If you're looking to rush to a Thebes, or if you want to just have the Glowing Emerald for the extra bit of health, here's the option. I don't recommend it.
Standard build. You have fast AA attacks that don't do much damage but it annoys the enemy enough to target you and waste their kit trying to take you down. You have the tankiness to take it and give it back by using the 2 and 1 to CC them for the team to set up, or using the 1 to make it harder for them to get on your team. The 1 has a large area and can really be obnoxious in fights as it can hit many different people, even accidentally.
The Anti-Crit build sacrifices much of the AA potential for surviving critical strikes. I highly recommend this build against a Merc or Neith or someone who is likely to build crit. Its not necessary if there's only one person building it, but if you see more than one, at least consider getting the Spectral Armor.
The idea of this build is to get as much cooldown as you can so you can maximize your potential CC with the 1 and 2.
A hybrid build like this can be a mix of anything. Just make sure you get defenses up fairly early so you don't throw the laning phase.
This build will maximize your tankiness. This build also produces 3 stacks from Hide of the Nemean Lion, so you get an additional 3 block stacks along with full protections. Stone of Gaia is here for the extra health, but really you could put anything you want to replace boots. For tankiness, I recommend health/sustain but if you want to put on a hammer as well or a utility item that's just fine.
The extra attack speed will help you proc executioner more frequently during a teamfight. You can focus down the tanks with your carry or other teammates more easily. I wouldn't recommend if your team has one or both of the items here, being Executioner or Void Shield, though if you need a second Void Shield for the split pushing and want to sell it later that's viable.
The idea of this build is more of a meme; you can proc your Shield of Reqrowth on a whim with your 2, meaning you have the 40% speed boost on demand.
Spectral Armor is situational if they get crit or not. If its not necessary, replace with anti-heal. If for some reason that isn't necessary, just pick an item to ensure that Hide of the Nemean Lion remains at 3 stacks.
Danzaburou is ripe for support potential. His 1 has great area control and denial, his 2 can peel and block off many entry and exit paths to the jungle, and the 3 can slow when people are inside it. You can also use the 3 to preform a "Mister President, get down!" moment by eating an auto-attack, ability, or ultimate as a sneaky leaf. This has saved many ungrateful teammates on many casual matches.
The ultimate is great for picking off people who are running away, or setting yourself up for CC for the team, or engaging. Escape is an option with it, and works sometimes, but otherwise its best used to engage and dump your CC where its needed.
Like Anhur Support, his area denial is great, and unlike Anhur Support, its far more immediate CC than his kit, which makes me think that Danz is a better position for support than Anhur, even though Anhur support will always have a place in my heart.
