Poseidon is a good mage and has recently seen a revival in his pro play. The build I give you for him capitalizes on his very useful 3 by utilizing Gem of Isolations passive. Most of the other items are situational and self explanatory but this main build will be your best bet. The only thing I will add is that if you are facing a good assassin or hunter I strongly recommend purchasing Spirit Robe or Mantle of Discord against assassins or Hide of The Nemian Lion if there are no assassins and just hunters. If there are both assassins and hunters on the other team stick with Mantle of Discord or Spirit Robe. You should buy the selected item as your final one. The item you pick should also be based on how good your opponent is, if you are facing a Hunter that is not very good or an assassin that sucks counter building is not all that necessary.
