Notes With this build you have full CDR with the extra fact that kills and every 10 seconds you get an extra cooldown boost. Equally, you should be able to play like an assassin and get a kill very quickly with your 2,1,3 combo in grounded stance.

Personally, I prefer sands of time to the conduit gem, as the gem's passive becomes useless rather quickly. And the 10% CDR is quite significant on Tiamat because its skills have quite a lot of CD at the beginning. Especially since she will be buffed quite a bit.
Otherwise in terms of stuff, I have one close to yours.
In general I start with sands of time > Rod of tahuti > shoes of focus > Soul gem > Soul reaver > spear of desolation (I will try with the staff of myrddin).
As a replacement for shoes, I'll start with spear of magus/staff of myrddin/spear of desolation depending on what I chose before.
In tier 2 for the starter item I like "the alternate timeline", because the protection goes well with Tiamat's ground form which can take it, and the extra life works well with the undoing bracelet if you've taken a bit of a violent focus.
But the Pendulum of Ages also works well if you want to reach the 40% CDR easely.

Pls stop with soul reaver it is worst item on mages
I think replace soul reaver by soul gem is too better

I m not a fan of soul reaver for classics mages, but with tiamat who can spam her skills, it's for me a good way to kill a tank.
But yes, Soul gem is for me an unmissable of tiamat for the same reasons.
Edit : on a lot of games, I manage to make 1200/1500 of heal with the soul gem, without counting obviously my own heal which is not displayed.
