To start, focus on clearing and poking to stack warriors blessing. For this build, use Achilles' armor stance
Finish boots first, then build the core build items of glad shield into sledge
Pridwen for the CDR and physical and magical protections which give bonus glad shield damage. Void shield boosts damage a ton from the power, glad shield damage from protections, and the aura penetration
Items to get after selling blessing and boots, and buying speed potion. Anti heal is MASSIVE this season so getting a brawlers, an aura item, or both is often the way to go. Caduceus shield gives you magic and physical protections as well as boosting the heal from your 2, which can help a lot with your late game sustain as well as boosting your glad shield damage. Mantle of discord maxes your CDR and gives you 60 physical and magical protections, and also boosts your glad shield damage. I would not use double shield items, meaning I would pair brawlers with one of the other situational items.
Replace cad shield depending on the enemy team. Keep if little to no anti heal on enemy team. Replace with contagion or pestilence if extra antiheal is needed, choose which one you need depending on enemy team damage. Replace with mantle if no CDR needed but extra tankiness is needed
Start by getting a point in your 1, then at level two, your 3, then at level three, your 2. Get a point in your 2 at level two if you are getting poked out and need the extra healing. Max your 1, get a point in your ult at 5, then max your 3, then 2, then ult.
Achilles is a great all around character throughout the whole game, and can carry from solo, or build full damage or hybrid from the jungle.
PROS
He has great damage building tanky using the Gladiator Shield passive, which converts a percentage of protections into ability damage on under 60% health targets. His defensive stance which adds health and protections also makes Gladiator Shield on Achilles that much better. He also has great sustain with his healing from his 2, which can be boosted using Caduceus Shield. Finally, his ultimate is an execute, which is a great tool in lane or in team fights. It refreshes on kill up to 5 times, and can also be used as an movement skill to escape bad fights.
CONS
His first weakness is that his early game lane and jungle clear isn't that great so you have to be careful early game, but he can still fight into most solos. His second weakness is that his "movement skill" is his 3 which doesn't actually go that far, so sometimes you have to use your ult as an escape in a pinch.
