Zeus throws his shield forward dealing damage to nearby enemies and apply a charge. The shield remains for 5s, and Zeus may target it with Basic Attacks or Chain Lightning. Each Basic Attack or first Chain Lightning arc that hits the shield will deal additional static damage and apply a charge in the area. While Zeus' shield is deployed, he gains Attack and Movement Speed. Zeus may refire the ability to recall the shield early.

Quick Guide - Steps for Arena

1.
Start with Purification Stone, then Reinforced Shoes combined with both chalices to spend all of the starting gold in Arena.

2.
Go grab mana camp - kill both mana and damage camp with your team, then let your team take the Attack Speed buff, while you head immediately to the middle to kill Ads before the other team gets there.

3.
Stay in for a minute or two more if possible then head back and start the Mid-Game build when the mana buff has expired. That is, if you haven't died yet :)

(This is a good time to go back and purchase sands of time starter -> Warlock's Sash -> Magic Shoes )


**Keep an eye out for Mana camp, as people tend to forget about it after killing it once. Mana camp is by far the most important buff for early game Zeus.

Note* If you are playing against Odin make sure to make your second Relic (Level 12) Phantom Veil, this will allow you and anyone near you to escape his Ultimate. Just a tip.

SmiteFire & Smite

Smite is an online battleground between mythical gods. Players choose from a selection of gods, join session-based arena combat and use custom powers and team tactics against other players and minions. Smite is inspired by Defense of the Ancients (DotA) but instead of being above the action, the third-person camera brings you right into the combat. And, instead of clicking a map, you use WASD to move, dodge, and fight your way through the detailed graphics of SMITE's battlegrounds.
