While Zeus' shield is deployed, he gains Attack and Movement Speed. Zeus may refire the ability to recall the shield early.

Items

Vampiric Shroud - Only needed if in mid solo lane
Shoes of Focus - A must for CDR Dmg and speed
Demonic Grip - Zeus makes good use of attack speed and NEEDs to get his 3 stacks up as fast as possible
Focused Void Stone - Gives him survivability to get 3 stacks on without dying and gives the needed early pen due to no Boots of Magi
Gem of Binding - Secure kills cause Zeus has no natural slow.(Pick Binding over isolation cause Zeus only has 2 skills that work with it)
Bancrofts Talon - Works good when your running away at low health and you hav'nt used detonate, and just gives u loads of dmg
Rod of Tahuti - Again just moar dmg
Pure Beads - A must for any squishy god
Combat Blink - Good for getting out of hairy situations because chances are as Zeus you'll get in those situations very often to apply stacks.

SmiteFire & Smite

Smite is an online battleground between mythical gods. Players choose from a selection of gods, join session-based arena combat and use custom powers and team tactics against other players and minions. Smite is inspired by Defense of the Ancients (DotA) but instead of being above the action, the third-person camera brings you right into the combat. And, instead of clicking a map, you use WASD to move, dodge, and fight your way through the detailed graphics of SMITE's battlegrounds.
