Smite is an online battleground between mythical gods. Players choose from a selection of gods, join session-based arena combat and use custom powers and team tactics against other players and minions. Smite is inspired by Defense of the Ancients (DotA) but instead of being above the action, the third-person camera brings you right into the combat. Unless your actual odds change (as in, you're up against harder or easier opponents) if your odds are 2 in 3, no matter how many games you play, your odds are still 2 in 3, so you might still keep winning. An easy way to illustrate this is to flip a coin repeatedly and write down the results. You would expect it to go something like, "heads, tails, heads, heads, tails," and be mostly even, but the actual results could give you something weird like landing on "heads" five times in a row.
and well this is smite the odds aren't that big of an influence. However your elo and teammates/opponents are. If you keep winning you will end up against better opponents which lowers the chance of you winning. It may be offset by being put with better players. Add in some cockiness and other factors that influence your state of mind when on a winning streak (most players will get more cocky or will have an I will easily win mindset). All these things increase the chance to lose.
This is also a reason how you can see if you're climbing or not. if you are positive in winrate you're climbing. However if it hits close to 50 or negative you are "stuck".
