Smite is an online battleground between mythical gods. Players choose from a selection of gods, join session-based arena combat and use custom powers and team tactics against other players and minions. Smite is inspired by Defense of the Ancients (DotA) but instead of being above the action, the third-person camera brings you right into the combat. And, instead of clicking a map, you use WASD to move, dodge, and fight your way through the detailed graphics of SMITE's battlegrounds.
SMITEFire is the place to find the perfect build guide to take your game to the next level. Learn how to play a new god, or fine tune your favorite SMITE gods’s build and strategy.

I'm opposite to your idea about reporting. I quite ENJOY reporting people. If I have a team member talking trash the first thing I do is mute him. Tell everyone else to mute him then we all report for harassment at the end of the match. If someone on the other team talks trash after the game is done. Block, report. My block list is flippin massive but if it ensures I never run into those people I'm perfectly happy and I hope at some point they have been blocked by so many people that trying to join a game is impossible because there aren't enough people to fill a 10 man game with them that don't have them blocked. I will say though I do LOVE smite for its mute button, its more active gameplay, and the ability to block like that. It cuts down on trash talking so much just with the fact that if you are typing you aren't moving.
I hope you realize, that blocking doesn't prevent you from being matched in a game with them. It just prevents messages. So, they can still be in your game later on, and, if you made a big scene about "zomg reportedzdeddddddd", they might remember you and ruin any future matches you ever have with them.
Also, reporting is fun. I report random people every game. I find it hilarious that I'm doing absolutely nothing for no one because reports do Nothing. I've been (allegedly) reported well over 100 times and I've NEVER had a ban. or ANY sort of warning at all. And I get really nasty. So good luck in reporting. because it really does nothing <3
