My entry
Atlas
Pantheon: Greek
Title: Bearer of the heavens
Role: Melee Tank/support
Pros: High crowd control, high health
Appearance: A large muscular, bearded man about the size of Ymir wearing only a red loincloth. his skin is the color of stone while his hair and beard are jet black and his eyes glow bright white.
Lore: Defeated By Zeus in the great war of the titans and forever condemned to bear the heavens on his shoulders, for aeons Atlas held the sky up and his desire for revenge festered. One of the Twelve Labors of the hero Heracles was to fetch some of the golden apples which grow in Hera's garden, tended by Atlas' daughters, the Hesperides, and guarded by the dragon Ladon. Heracles went to Atlas and offered to hold up the heavens while Atlas got the apples from his daughters.
Upon his return with the apples, however, Atlas attempted to trick Heracles into carrying the sky permanently by offering to deliver the apples himself, as anyone who purposely took the burden must carry it forever, or until someone else took it away. Heracles, suspecting Atlas did not intend to return, pretended to agree to Atlas' offer, asking only that Atlas take the sky again for a few minutes so Heracles could rearrange his cloak as padding on his shoulders. When Atlas set down the apples and took the heavens upon his shoulders again, Heracles took the apples and ran away. Now He is free and his anger is strong, mountains will shatter, plains will tremble and the earth will run red as atlas joins the battle.
Abilities:
Basic attack: Alas smashes the enemy with his massive fists
Passive: Titan of Endurance > Using and ability increases Atlas' max health by 5% stacks up to 10
Ability 1: Hands of eternal strength: Atlas Claps his super strong hands together, sending a powerful shock wave out in a cone front of him that does moderate damage and knocks all enemies back very far.
Ability 2: Oh no you don't! : teleport's to a nearby ally god within a moderate distance and covers them with his body for 3 seconds, during that time he is invulnerable.
Ability 3: Pillar of fortitude: atlas smashes an enormous pillar into the ground, any enemy gods/minions caught under take damage and the pillar forms an impassable barrier for 10 seconds
Ultimate: Planetbreaker stomp: Atlas stomps the ground hard, the ability does no damage but the entire map shakes and all enemy gods and minions in game have their movement and accuracy reduced by 80% for ten seconds
Tips: Atlas will sorely disappoint you if you pick him looking for damage. His strength lies in being able to slow down and harass multiple enemy gods while another god who might not be very tough but has high damage takes them down. he's designed to endure an onslaught in order to protect his allies and keep the enemy at bay, his second ability in particular allows him to survive even the most devastating of ultimates but the catch is that it won't work unless there's a nearby ally so Atlas is always better with a partner. Pair him up with someone like artemis or Poseidon and the duo are unstoppable.
Let me know what you guys think
My IGN is also RedN0va
He's melee... Raze specifically stated that the competition was for ranged, my good sir.
Passive: What? Using this ability? Passives cannot be activated, that's why they are PASSIVES!
1: I like this idea, but I would like to see damage values, mana cost, cooldown, and if there is any CC.
2: What? That's just weird, really.
3. I guess that works, but a 10 sec. wall is too long. Far too long.
Ultimate: I don't know how to feel about that. I imagine that an earthquake would hurt... plus 10 seconds is just too long. Maybe 4 or 5 seconds.
