Well, it was nice finding out controller bindings fubar on pc

After not being on for 3 weeks and logging in to try Heimdallr. Most of a match spent in base trying to set keybindings and a lone attempt to use kb/mouse(hate and have no desire to play that way) and dying horribly. Spent the rest of time until my team surrendered in base so i wasn't basically feeding. At least my team was inderstanding as i apologized and explained the situation. I really hate console play as well so i guess i will have no urge to play intil they fix this. Submitted my ticket and went to the hirez forums and apparently this has been an issie aince the update dropped. Come on hirez....anyone else affected by this issue?
I hate the Console UI but figured i'd adjust but the controller scheme is a deal breaker. I used one setup "Gladiator"(?) which was closest, but no binding for base recall, like wtf lol. R-Joystick "in" was recall, now its "cancel" (used to be LTrigger which is now unused..)
I regret spending money on this game right before the patch notes. Fixing what was not broken..

I understand completely. I mean, looking at it..I think there are one or two options I can make work, but I don't understand why every lay out doesn't have all your options. As other minor examples, some of them have cancel fire and some of them don't and at least to me it is unclear what buttons you have to press in tandom on some of the configurations for consumable or other options. there are a lot of controls at the bottom just labeled with a + before them. I have been burnt out on smite for a few weeks or so but was still looking forward to playing with a friend of mine when the opportunity presented itself and also have been looking forward to trying out Heimdallr. I mean I will probably try out a couple of the layouts, but like you said..fixing something that was never broken...really aggravating.
