It's currently just very cold rain, but it's beginning to ice everywhere. It's at just the right temperature to the state of water (ice, water, stream), is so unstable that just the touch of your finger can melt something instantly. So, the azalea bush outside has frozen water droplets all over it, and it's so cool making them melt just by touching them.
Hey, it never happens here, so excuse my fascination with this weather.
Ya think that's bad?
Our problem isn't snow. It's sub-freezing temperatures and a practically constant wind chill advisory, meaning it always feels like it's at least 10 below, at the high.
Seriously. I opened my window for ten minutes, and our heating bill was doubled when we got it.

FEAR MY WEATHER RAY
While you've experienced this twice, I've never experienced it.
I would freak out if that happen where I live.
Technically I've only really experienced it once before, because that last time it happened I was like five years old. But I do remember how cool it was last time. I couldn't imagine feet of it though - we're closing down bridges and it hasn't even snowed yet, lol.
Seriously, a city that's located on the Charleston Peninsula is going to be completely cut off from the rest of the state lol.
