I tend to hear that Anubis is the most OP god in Smite, and I often find it to be true that he is OP; however the most OP doesn't seem true. Who else has the power to drop people like Anubis?

at the pro scene it's currently who's been dominating, but and are also pretty high up there.

But hey, that's just my opinion. Infact this entire topic is opinion based mostly. Some people may find op while others may not, some say is op when others say he's not, etc...

she's situational. is my ranked climbing tool when i play jungle, but she can be countered by a good team, she isn't that great.

sucks, cause he legit dies if he gets ganked

and is basically without his flaws. he has a way to escape, no way to immune his burst, aoe damage, single target damage, safety, basically has everything.

Awilix is really good if especially if she is on a good team with knockups.

I would like to say that Guan Yu is the most OP Warrior. A slow, stun, AOE heal, great clear, and best team presence in game. Aphrodite and Chang'e are tied is the support mage category, but utility wise, in my opinion, Agni and Sol are the most OP. Agni has a dash, 3 stuns, and a rechargeable ult that costs no mana. Sol has damage immunity, self heal, and a unique ult that can damage a spread out team. As of late, Cupid has become the most OP hunter due to his recent changes. A team heal, stun, dash, and a mesmerize. Kali and Thanatos are tied in the assassin class because they both have a stun and great heal. They also shred tanks. Lastly, Xing Tian is the most OP tank because he has great survivability with his passive, and the best setup ult of all time, being able to pull a whole team out of tower in to your team. Again, all my opinion.

OP is really a consideration of multiple factors, not just a basic 100-0. If an enemy is standing there, should absolutely destroy any god more quickly than any others. But since he lacks an escape, and has to stand still to use 2 of his 4 abilities, there are a lot of counterplay options available. This makes him mediocre at best when it comes to modes like Conquest, and he is ABSOLUTELY not considered OP in anything but pure damage output. What you're asking is sort of just a portion of the entire mechanics of SMITE.

is definitely one of the more powerful gods right now...lots of damage output with while still being able to be effective when building bruiser (with some protections). This makes him a very effective 1 v 1er.

But are you talking only 1 v 1 in Joust? What about teamfights, laning stages, etc.?

I am talking about burst damage only. When I had asked who else can drop people like Anubis can I meant who has more mobility, more if not the same burst damage, and escapes.

has too much counterplay, brings nothing to teamfights, and while may be strong, i think people are getting to used to him and how to counter him. could count but she also has counterplay

While have lot of burst damage, but with no escapes CC destroys him hard. One God I think that is broken and OP right now is . You could also add because he is also so stupid.
