I took about a month off of Smite to get my **** together (moving states, etc etc. you don't care). Now I'm back. Arena is generally what I play and I planned on beginning league, but I see it's not available? Did they discontinue it or is it a temporary thing?

They removed it because not enough players played it.

I don't play much less like league, but I still hope it returns to arena. Arena league means more people might play casual arena, thus preventing its matchmaking from being as awful as 3v3 joust due to low population.

SmiteFire & Smite

Smite is an online battleground between mythical gods. Players choose from a selection of gods, join session-based arena combat and use custom powers and team tactics against other players and minions. Smite is inspired by Defense of the Ancients (DotA) but instead of being above the action, the third-person camera brings you right into the combat.
