What is up with people saying bastet sucks when she doesn't.

I literally just played jungle with her for my first time with her AS JUNGLE.

OMG I did better with bastet then I do other jungle gods I actually like!
I just went like 8-2 or something like that.

I was actually shocked out of my mind how fast she clears jungle camps....
Her 2 clears camps with ease.... maybe its an illusion or something but I swear it seems if she also attacks faster or something because my basic attacks rape the living hell out of those jungle camps.

I was like 4 levels ahead of people thats how fast I was clearing jungle camps.

How does she suck when her bleed seems to be crazy good to me, not only in camps but also on single targets. I literally melted poor cupids face off with my 2.

Also her ult merks people easily, even if the ult fails it distracts them from attacking you and you can land your 2 yoru 3 you 1 and even basic attacks in.

BY THE WAY I BUY CREEPING CURSE SO THEY CAN'T RUN AWAY AS GOOD.

I literally was chasing down, Thor, Chang'e, and Cupid. Hercules died... funny we were just talking about him?

Anyways, bastet doesn't suck at least when you jungle with her, I did better with her than my other gods who I played much longer and this is THE FIRST TIME I ever jungled with her.

She has a easy cone ability which seemed to do a good chunk of damage
She has a ult that rapes, if you get creeping curse like me it rapes harder, if they choose to fight your cats you simply bleed them.
The best part is when they run she has her 3 to smack them in the back and slow them down.

On top of this her attacks seem crazy fast or maybe I'm just going insane?

BASTET is probably going to be a jungler I actually pick now after seeing why I seen people go 20-4 with her in games.... its not because she sucks thats for sure.

Basically, she's an assassin that has no assassin like qualities about her. She's a poker. Which doesn't really fit in. Her jump is the slooooowest thing an assassin can have - you have a millennium and a half to react to it. She has NO cc outside of minor, MINOR slows. Her scaling is meh. Her skillshot is among the skinniest in the game. Her cats are ridiculous easy to kill, can be CC'd, and do minor damage, while being able to be kited. Finally, her escape is tied in with her only way to do damage, her jump - you can't do damage if you can't be near them.

Also, her passive sucks. SUCKS. If you think the 25% reduced spawn is good, it's not. It has no utility in teamfights, and you probably won't hold anything against a team solo.

Basically, why take bastet, whose damage is mediocre, initiate is subpar, survivability is nonexistent, CC is underaverage, ult is broken, and passive is useless, when you can take someone like Thor, Ne Zha, Loki, or Fenrir, who all have MUCH quicker initiates, all have a stun, all have an absolutely devastating ult, and can all do more in a teamfight than just cast a spell and then wait around.

I will now pick her for a few reasons

#1 Clear camps fast as ****
#2 if people jump on me they die because of my ult EARLY-MID GAME
#3 If its late game and they decide to face my cats or its mid game and they TRY to kill my cats then I will GET FREE ATTACKS on THEM.

I just played a match but lost because Ra fed a damn loki to level 20 when my entire team was still at level 13.

I met up with bakasura he jumped on me in the jungle, I ulted and used creeping curse. Needless to say he got raped in about 3 seconds or less. Cats + 2 + basic attack = you die. Creeping curse just makes it even better.

I find that MOST people will die to bastets ult even if you think its ****ty many people get owned by it if you stick it in their face and start attacking them and they have no escape.

You are right on a few things
#1 Her passive sucks ***
#2 Her cats are easy to kill ONLY MIDISH - LATE GAME

But the thing is, late game I don't use my cats to kill even though they can and will, I use them more as distraction so I can use my 2 then basic attacks.

I don't really on my 1 for damage, I normally was just using her 2 then using basic attacks along with her ult and creeping curse. 90% of everyone dies by it.

Its like Vulcan, his turrets may be easy to kill but they can still get kills if nobody attacks them.

If you use HER ULT AT THE RIGHT MOMENT they will die.

bastet is getting a few change's next patch (nearly wrote chang'e lol) and a gold skin.

They might just be small tweaks to her early/late game and hopefully her passive!! also a reskin like odin maybe? i dunno im just speculating on the spoils of possible changes that erez made today!

Bastet always seemed fine to me .Her 1 is one of the best ability an assassin can have : get in , kill , then get out .Her 2 is also very good , her 3 does little damage and it takes some timing to hit an enemy and her ultimate is only good early game in my opinion .Her passive sucks , for a player who wants little to no deaths her passive is of no use to me .
