OK without much ball scratching here I will get right to the point. In some competitives specially when league rank system was brought on I heard many complaings like : HAdes is useless in this META, or Hades sucks, or Hades this Hades that...
And unfortunately just when I m about to pick Hades they (my teammates) yell : PLEASE NO HADES, PICK SOME1 ELSE, etc...

Im not blind and I can see that something is getting wrong with one of my favorite gods. In my opinion he got trampled by time in Smite. Hes brothers Zeus and POseidon are more favoured picks than him and the reason is easy to conclude: Zeus with "you all know what" and Poseidon with "1 click sick insta dammage" (btw I wont even mention ridiculesly OP new gods since I discussed that before and honestly makes me pretty sick)

And bottom line Hades was pretty fun to play in older days of Smite but now when too many slider, jumper, flyer gods and anti CC Anti dmg and escape active items I think Hades should be prioritized for complete remake or Im afraid hes losing his point in SMITE.
Anyone agree/disagree and tell me why you think that. Share the opinions...

You seem to have a lot of complaints about SMITE, and to be honest, I don't blame you. And you're very spot on about Hades. Hades is one of those gods they just kinda forgot about and don't really feel like working any of his problems (when really, they just need to make him a mage, like they did with Vulcan). But if Hades is a god you want to play **** EVERYONE AND PLAY HADES. Just...ya know...try not to suck with him.

Many gods are 'losing their point' in SMITE, which is a very bad thing. Out of all the champs in LOL I'm sure many people play all of them. With SMITE, the very few range of gods it has, around 20-30 are actually played. It's a progressing/learning experience for Hi-Rez and the costumers, so I'm sure that'll be fixed eventually.

I have a rank 10 hades , I love him, and I utterly crush with him, and tbh, every hardcore hades player I talk to agree that hades is fine where he is. Hes not the best but hes strong in solo and doable in mid. I use to think he was becoming irrelevant, but ever since the recent buffs to him he is very powerful, I have 1 shotted gods numerous time with him. He's just a poor tank is all, but very strong mage/magical bruiser if played and built right. In short, even though you don't see him in the meta or in a lot of high ranking league, I wouldn't say its cuz he's "bad" but more because no one has taken the time to fit him in their comp, or cares to use him when you have the super safe pick Ra for solo or a nice strong tyr.

in high levels when your thinking of counters to a solo lane, mid match up or how to fix you're unbalanced comp (missing adc for whatever reason so you get a solo apollo/neith/amc), you only have so much time to think about it, not to mention whatever else your team is trying to discuss with you about. in situations like that you don't "HADES IS THE ANSWER!" nah, you think of the stuff thats proven to work or helps the team get what they need onto the table. I've played hades in league matches ranging from silver to gold (had to stop playing cuz of school so i didn't get the chance to go plat or higher X(. ) both in solo and mid and performed well, hell I even heard Drybear got crushed by a hades in league or something.

Hes just Under used is all, and with good reason, there's so many great gods to pick, and I think hades is one of them, but he just won't get the respect he needs until hades player like you and I get him out there.

Aphnex No Im not trying to sound neither Professional or anything and I sure think I am not pathetic this is just a shorter version of what I had to say about Hades now imagine how much would longer version took LOL :D
As for other stuff you pointed - I like your thinking maybe I should just think like **** them and just play Hades and yes HI REZ is still learning but I think they should deal with "less picked gods " and bring them back in action in a more influental way that they are

Aj17 SPOT ON ! I agree Hades is a Bruiser not a full tank and I agree there are more safer and better picks than him (again point is howering on the count of new gods unfortunately) but I still need to point out that all his offensive actions could be slipped away easy. Yes there may be situations when enemies burn their escape spells/get mana dry/ get low HP/ get CC-ed etc and you can ram in with ult and melt the living **** out of them all but I will assure you that this wont happen very often.
Under used I agree but I will add under valued right now and I will hope that Hi rez will do something about this soon :)

Hades is so strong in lane.. lol.. he can easily clear @level 2 and heal all the damage you do to him with Bancroft.

I do see Hades being very scary. The biggest problems that all of his attacks get in the enemies face, making him be targeted for a lot more damage than a regular Mage who can attack from afar. His healing from his 3 does solve some of that problem. There is also his ult that is easy to get out with beads or a jump. I don't know how to fix that issue but I see that as a minor setback. All-in-all, he's a very viable god, but there are more viable gods than Hades.

Playing Hades means being smart. IMO his a "hard" God to play. But can easily be countered by not being near your minions. That's what I think.

What else should I say? being able to 1 shot an Assassin just feels so... right with him.
