I do think that. cc in this game is very strong and there arent a whole lot of cc reduction items to counter it

Necro but yeah, I never actually mentioned high level play as in professional level, frankly when you get to that point they can make any God look good if they are having a good game. What I meant, and sorry for the ambiguity earlier, was that at mid level play (Say silver to plat ranked) you are very rarely going to see a ymir building damage and even less often are they going to be good if they do. Sure, Ymir can jungle but it takes a high skill level to do so efficiently. Athena is another good guardian jungler but that doesn't mean she isn't one of the best supports in the game. GPD's argument was that Ymir had too much damage for a guardian and what I am saying is that if he builds damage then he is no longer a support. He definitely isn't anywhere near the kind of a problem that OP made out. I play EU and still rarely see a good Ymir :P. I've lost count of the amount of times a ymir has blinked in on me and missed his freeze because I moved rather than standing still and taking it to the face. I've even counter blinked it before, blinking after he does but before he freezes. A good ymir wrecks face. As does a good Athena or geb or sylvanus or ares... you get the idea.
