I don't know if anyone else had noticed it, but for some reason the people in lanes are leveling up a lot faster than they normally should be. After my last match, I noticed it. I was playing Apollo with an Aphrodite against a Neith and Thor. Somehow all four of us hit level 10 before either teams jungler. I can understand one jungler failing hard but not two. Especially the Loki we had. He was actually quite skilled.

I started thinking back to all my other games afterwards. Where before this latest god patch, I could easily get to level 5 on Bakasura through straight jungling before either mid laner. Yet after patch; by the time I was level 5 they were level 7. How in all my other games where I played non junglers; how all the junglers struggled to even keep up with people who were sharing lanes. I was like, how can I even be this level yet I don't even have my boots finished.

So I don't know if the lane minions got an xp buff. Or if it's some kind of bug that got missed in this latest patch. Or I could just be having a very off day with jungling. Anyone else notice it?

The jungler always falls behind compared to lanes, if the lane is farming as they should.

And it depends on the jungler as well, if you don't get all the mid harpies you are going to fall behind, if you don't get any kills you are going to fall behind etc.

I had a game yesterday where I was 2 lvls ahead of our mid and solo lane, so it just comes down to your efficiency in the jungle. I had 2 kills, cleared my jungle super fast and helped to push each lane I ganked (that is a great way to keep from getting behind as jungle).

SmiteFire & Smite
