You shouldnt close the game for 5 minutes after you bought the gems, though.
There always is a little delay when you buy gems and if you close the game there could be an error that no matter what you won't recieve them.
Also Hirez takes years to answer and someone just ripped hirez and Mattypocket some days ago by like 8k gems, which could lead to the problem that they won't give you the gems.
Id be interested in their answer, if its possible, could you post it here?

SmiteFire & Smite

Smite is an online battleground between mythical gods. Players choose from a selection of gods, join session-based arena combat and use custom powers and team tactics against other players and minions. Smite is inspired by Defense of the Ancients (DotA) but instead of being above the action, the third-person camera brings you right into the combat.
