Can't we all just agree that this was a stupid and pointless argument and we shall carry on with our lives and gaming experience now.

It's not stupid or pointless. There is a lot of arguments against Smite, some of them perfectly valid.

mr.goo is not my ign, having around 30 h of playtime. i actually just wanted a compensation for my time lost in smite due to bugs like the one named above. so i guess the anti-advertising thing fits best just to explain myself. but i have calmed down, smite is a great game with some weak points which let me think about if its worth it for me.

SmiteFire & Smite

Smite is an online battleground between mythical gods. Players choose from a selection of gods, join session-based arena combat and use custom powers and team tactics against other players and minions. Smite is inspired by Defense of the Ancients (DotA) but instead of being above the action, the third-person camera brings you right into the combat. And, instead of clicking a map, you use WASD to move, dodge, and fight your way through the detailed graphics of SMITE's battlegrounds.
