Hi, im here to rant about the op-ness of fenrir's number 3 ability, Brutalize. I do not think the base damage on it is op per say, the reason that i believe it is broken is due to a few things. First, the fact that if fenrir is mauling someone and they use and escape move, fenrir stays on his targets location for all 4 hits. Loki's invis/teleport, neith's backflip, odin's jump, xbal's rising jaguar, etc. None of them stop the mauling, which is a huge flaw imo and has resulted in many deaths on my part and kills when i was fenrir. It even goes through Ymir's Wall if ymir put it up behind him as an escape!! Secondly, all four hits are considered basic attacks in the game, meaning fenrir gets all the benfits of hitting 4 no-fail basic attacks. They can crit, apply on hit effects, and can get huge lifesteal if used with the 2. The lifesteal im fine with, and the critting isnt to big of a deal early game, but late game, after he buys deathbringer, rage, what have you, he will literally (and i know this because ive done it multiple times) 1 shot a squishy at max health if he gets crits with that thing. It's like having loki's ult ready every 14 seconds, which is just plain ridiculous imo. I think they need to fix it so you CAN escape out of it, not just hard stun him, AND have it classified as an ability rather than 4 basic attacks with added power. That would bring him down into the realm that the rest of the gods are playing in. Rant concluded.

There is a very good chance will get nerfed simply because it gets treated like four basic attacks and gains all the benefits of them (including charging his passive).

At the moment, your best options for countering this skill are to build items that work against basic attacks. works quite well since it hurts him for each attack, though is also good since it will stack your protection with each hit you take, and will almost always slow him down after he's down with that combo. Not to mention all three items I mentioned give Physical Protection, which also softens his attacks in general.

Waiting on a good new MOBA, please.
