do support gods get more followers for assists? i just won a match with chang'e, went 8-0-1 and only got five followers so...

Followers don't count assists, kills, or deaths. It counts participation in a lengthened match. A loss, as far as I know, is always 1 follower. A regular game is 5-7. You can earn up to a ridiculous amount of followers, however, as I had a 4v5 poseidon conquest match that I ended up winning after literally 2 hours, and it gave me 60 some followers. He was on free week - kind of had to buy him afterwards.

So it is how long the runs if you win, that seems a little dumb, seeing as how the better you do, the faster the game will end. (in most cases)

SmiteFire & Smite

Smite is an online battleground between mythical gods. Players choose from a selection of gods, join session-based arena combat and use custom powers and team tactics against other players and minions. Smite is inspired by Defense of the Ancients (DotA) but instead of being above the action, the third-person camera brings you right into the combat.
