I have no clue if someone made a thread about this, but I really want them to change the golden skins to this. LIKE SERIOUSLY, these look so much better. I don't think should change the animal gods like Fenrir or Anubis. I wish we could add this to our suggestions for this week. Maybe they would change it, because they made some of our changes this patch like with the zeus nerf and HoG nerf. I just wanted to share this, because these look so badass and I really want them. It would give me a reason to grind for alot more golden skins.

Aren't these just legendary skins? Except that the color of their actual skin is normal?

The point of this discussion, to my understanding, is would it be nicer if the legendary/gold skins just apply to clothing/armor rather than completely changing the body.

On topic:
I can see this being cool to have, but some gods are going to be a problem figuring out what to retexture. Ah Muzen Cab, for instance, is completely covered in chitin save for the head. Would certain parts of his body be made gold/blue/black, or would the entire area save for his head and wings?

I think that what Menoetyus said is completely relevant. He's pointing out the fact that if you implemented this change you are essentially buying black and blue clothes for your god. OUt of all the infinite possibilities of design you settle for a color change. You aren't getting your money's worth.

Back to the topic:
I love this idea I've always hated the gold skins. I want my god to look unique and creative not some mass produced play-doh model that fell into a tub of glitter. But I like this idea even more http://imgur.com/a/p1AcL have Hi-Rez make the skins color customizable. It's quite a bit of work but this is the kind of skin I'll buy. Smaller studios have done it; Warframe has done a very successful job of it and plus they make some extra revenue selling color palettes.

Make the golden skin default pure gold and blue, with the legendary customizable colors? Yes please.

I completely forgot about customize golden skins. It would be quite a nice touch and make golden skins a lot more worth it. Also Ty arka!

SmiteFire & Smite
