For the past week now, Ive been getting kicked out of games and sent to the lobby. The worst part? Im not the only one whos getting this, I looked it up and apparently its a problem that's going around the community.

Let me explain:
I'll be in a game, suddenly, everyone starts walking into a wall and then I get kicked to the lobby. Deserter and everything. This has happened to me EIGHT times in the past 4 days! It wouldn't bother me if it happened in the games I lose, but it doesn't, it happens in the games Im WINNING.

Is there a way to fix this? Or is this just another example of Hi-Rez ignoring the community (Like they do with reports)?

The only time I've had that happen consistently was a problem with my wifi connection. Even if your connection is fine 99% of the time, if your wifi is suddenly drops out for 30 seconds you'll get kicked out of your game saying it lost connection.

I had this happening when my house had wifi extenders installed since we only really have one place with ethernet ports and living in NYC, it's hard to get good wifi on the 3rd floor from a wifi unit on the first. It turned out that my wifi was broadcasting a dualband signal, 5.2Hz and 2.4Hz and my wifi extenders (despite them both being linksys brand) only accepted one signal at a time. What was happening was that my extender would get confused and switch signals randomly causing me to have my internet suddenly shut off for maybe 15 seconds.

Because it was so fast, I didn't notice it while web browsing (if a page takes a little extra time to load, that's not particularly abnormal) but my smite games were kicking me out from it every other game or so. I finally figured out the problem (after MUCH troubleshooting, originally I thought it was a smite problem myself) but finally figured out the cause of the issue and made my router only broadcast on 2.4Hz.

TLDR: It's probably a problem with your internet, not Smite, determine if you have ANY internet connection on your computer the instant that you lose connection to your smite game (ignore what your pc says in your wifi status, try loading a webpage, if it takes a long time you probably lost your connection briefly).

It may, or may not be from your internet connection.

Sometimes, I get kicked from a game, while my girlfriend, who is just next to me, sharing the same (wired) connection, remains in the game. Other times, she's being disconnected while I am still playing fine.

On other games, the match crashed, not SMITE, just the match.
Everybody falls back to the lobby (no deserter, no penalty), and we have to requeue.
Though this happens way less often, it always happen when my team is winning ... always.

However, if you really had these disconnect from SMITE that often in this short period, I would probably say it's your internet connection.

It could be your Wi-Fi, but it could also be a problem with the route your computer has to use to connect to Smite server. Somes ISP use different trafic routes that may cause some high ping spikes.

Well, the thing is, this has NEVER happened before. I can run everything else on my computer just fine with no problems. I asked a bunch of my friends and they said the same thing.

I've found smite's servers in particular to be the most finicky with sudden changes in ping. Eg: I could play other online games with my wifi issue only having to deal with occasional lag, but smite would kick me from games altogether.

This has happened to me too, everything from being kicked to having laggy ping to weird profile/god screen glitches. It's a finicky client, but I'll stick with it until some sort of enormous penalty comes from being kicked from games. I wish you good luck with solving your internet problems (if that's what it is), and I hope that the client doesn't stop you from playing the game.

I wouldn't be so mad if I could just join another game afterwards, but no, I get deserter penalty. It gave me a 24 hour one on Monday.
