Can someone give a list of Mercury's weaknesses?

If there was one thing I would like to change about him, it would be the ability to hurl you against a wall and beat you down while you can't fight back, and now I realized how creepy that sentence sounds.

Curse, nemean, FoG, blink, sprint, aegis, beads and you may want to consider mid guardian mail because of this very rare oppertunity.
never forget dawngate and never forgive EA. Freia will hunt them for eternity.

Beads , definitely beads .If you use beads while he gets his 3 on you ,you will get away while he will still be spinning around .You will have plenty of time to run .Also , cripples put Merc in a very delicate situation , not being able to use his 3 or ultimate will sure get him killed .

Off topic : Come on Hi-rez , give this guy a damn nerf , seriously , he puts out TOO MUCH damage even for an assassin .

IMO, speed buffs should also count as movement abilities. Merc can walk right through Artemis' traps, even though they give a crippling effect.

Ah, and thanks for the beads tip. I had no idea he just stands there spinning, sounds fun to use against him.

I feel that he puts out the right amount of damage for an Assassin considering his squishiness. And there are still other Assassins who do as much, if not more damage than him (Loki, Baka, Ne Zha if built right.)

Its not the damage its the fact he can outplay ANYONE so much with orange buff. He can build hyper without completely neglecting damage due to his passive.

Or, they can simply make his buff only count against slows instead of buffing Whirlpool more. Lets face it, only Artemis and Neith have a snare anyway, and merc can still dash through Neith's.

I pretty much was able to shut down a Merc with Hel yesterday. He would of lost lane easily if it wasn't for their Arachne pretty much babysitting him.

His biggest weakness is that he melts so easily.

Saying "He's Squishy" is not exactly a productive response. You can say "He's Squishy" to 65% of the gods in this game, all of which have varied counter-strategies.

I did think of something, it's that most Merc's use their self-buff before charging, so after you hear "gotta go fast!", that's your cue to slow him with Creeping Curse and such.

Also, Hel is kinda in a league of her own, isn't she? Her Repulse is impossible to dodge unless you are on the very edge of it, or if you can somehow teleport backwards. She's a good counter to pretty much any squishy melee god.

please don't buff neith. her root is already one of the most broken things in the game. if i use an ability that makes me cc immume lets take anhurs ult as an example it will not remove the root, if i pop it before i get rooted it works like normal but if i ult while i am rooted i stay rooted.

roots are fine they don't need a buff or debuff. just fix the probleme with the i stay rooted when i use a cc immumety giving ability.

also most speed buffs do not remove a root. it is something very specific about merc's 2 that was added into the game on purpose.

Its not buffing Neith, unless you ONLY play Mercury. I'm talking about Mercs 2 (pretty sure its 2) not moving through roots anymore. Nothing to do with roots, all about Mercs steroid.
