I would love to hear ideas about how to rework Kali. She needs it, and she is a wonderful character that deserves it. The Goddess of Destruction...c'mon, how good is that?

I'd take away her 1 and giver her a dash and make her 2 apply a slow

make bleed last 5 seconds instead of 2 so she can combo with siphon blood more easily. And make siphon blood more of an instant spell.( She flies in the air for around 1 second but it feels like forever -.-) Also increase the radius to 25 so she has an easier time catching multiple Gods in a teamfight. And i guess have some kind of small upgrade for her ultimate, that i cant think of right now.

I dont know if it will help, but it will make her more fun to me.

She needs some sort of leap, or at the very least a dash, to let her get in and out of combat. Perhaps make her 1 have one of the two and still apply the bleed ability after the dash to her 2 or 4.

kali would need a bit of cc and a bit better of an escape. reduce the damage on her 1 and you have a better Kali

Well they "buffed" Kali, if it can really be called that. Well the shortened her cd time; on her one it is important because so much depends on it, namely, her power and speed buff, and her bleed. The should have also lengthen the duration of it to 8s.

They really didn't address her weaknesses much more than that: poor initiation, her "purification beads" ult, or her early mana hunger.

I like the idea of making her siphon target larger and quicker.
Making her lifesteal less dependent on her lack of health. As it is, she gains 20% lifesteal when she is below 25% health. So basically, she needs one foot in the grave before they give her half a chance to fight her way out of it. C'mon! Only Bastet's passive is lamer, which the also ought to fix...a 25% faster respond time after the first 9 deaths...really? If she has nine lives, then she really ought have 9 lives. I suggest making her regenerate in the well but only as fast as it takes her to acquire a teleport, which should be free, so she can pounce right back into the action. Maybe the the time she doesn't lose farming might really help some.

Back to Kali: one last improvement I would make on her is to give her ult a "weakening curse" type slow and health regen debuff. Weakening curse improves her ult a bit, but if you have to buy that and meditation, which you do really have to buy because she is so mana hungry early game, then it severely limits her options for active abilities. Either give her a slow or ramp up her mana, so she can buy blink to give her a way of initiating and/or escaping, or aegis to help her survivability.

Right now I think the ultimate build for Kali has to emphasize lifesteal, which means she needs to do damage, so attack speed and crit damage are requrired. Kali can be very dangerous, even early. Basically, I think she needs to be about standing and fighting, tearing enemy gods and towers down fast, before they tear her down. She can be built tanky, but that is not how to get the most out of her.

I do not think she should jungle. I think she needs to be in lane whether solo, mid, or duo with a tank to help her farm and kill early. She should not be expected to 1v2. I suggest she start with Tabi 1, Soul Eater 1, Meditation. She is mana starved early and needs Meditation right away. Move to Tabi 2, but only go to level 3, Warrior Tabi, when needed or convenient.
No Ninja Tabi or CD. She needs to emphasize basic attacks.

Max out Soul Eater first, then Meditation as soon as possible for the health restore. The idea is to give her the early sustain she needs. For Kali, this is more important than more power. She can do serious early damage without power items. This is why Bloodlash and Rage need to be prioritized ahead of Siphon and Frenzy. 1) Bloodlash, 2) Rage, 3) Siphon, 4) Bloodlash, 5) Frenzy. Then prioritize Bloodlash, Rage, Siphon, Frenzy. Frenzy, her ult, should be added at 5,17,18,19,20 and be primarily used as purification beads (seriously).

I would next recommend Golden Bow. The Executioner is the main alternative, but Bow will help her to take out minion waves and the ocassional buff camp very efficiently without using Bloodlash, with which to initiate and harass. The Executioner's attack speed suits her but Bow's passive will damage and kill lane minions without even hitting them. In a buff camp, just belly up to the boss and chop him down with auto attacks, and Bow will dispatch the side minions. Essentially Bow turns her basic hits into a poor man's AOE. Bloodforge is another possibility for item 3 but it is a bit expensive perhaps at this stage, but maybe follow it with the Exectioner or, if you are feeling saucy, with Fatalis to manage cost. With Warrior Tabi, Soul Eater, Bloodforge, and Fatalis, Kali is basically a fast-moving, blood-sucking cuisinart for fairly cheap money. The passives on Forge and Fatalis should not be overlooked.

Of course, "the best build" depends on circumstances, and with Kali you have to be especially flexible because playing her is a challenge under the best of circumstances. Hopefully, you can finish off with Deathbringer and Rage, or better yet the other time will surrender before you get the chance! Or it may be that after you finish Soul Eater you realize that you need to tank Kali up a bit and hope to survive as long as possible. Soul Eater's passive will help you team a bit. You might want/need to pick up Void Blade and Sovereignty to continue that theme. Your second active ability might well be Creeping Curse, and that can help out everyone, too.

What I really hope is that they get serious and make Kali (and Bastet) truly competitive. I am sure in time they will.

If the game goes long, Bow is something you might sell later when minion waves are less important in order to pick up something else quickly, like Rage.

After Bow, it really depends but if things are going pretty well Deathbringer might

A skill with a stun/heavy slow and a dash then the same effect as her 3(like Apollo's 3) at the moment would make me play Kali daily .

That might be enough, Romanians. She needs a stun or heavy slow to improve her truly insipid initiation, and she needs some sort of escape. I am not sure if it should be a dash or jump. An alternative I think might be interesting would be to give her a Thor-like teleport. Instead of her 1 increasing her move speed, make it a skill shot: she throws her knives. If she hits her target, she teleports to it like Ne Zha's armillory sash, or she can use it to escape by flinging them away and teleporting to them with an addition click. I think it should be like combat blink and enable her to teleport through a wall. That might get Kali back in the jungle, though she would be quite versatile. The slow (which I would prefer to a stun) could be applied by her 3. It should be an area slow like creeping curse so it syncs well with her ult. Are you listening, HighRes?
