How old are you ICEN? You are saying it's a conspiracy for Hi-rez to want money? I don't even know what to say to that... of course they want money, it's called a buisness. I don't like the cheat engine running, but if it help stops possible cheating then I'm for it.

PEOPLE ARE GETTING BANNED FROM IT RUNNING WITHOUT DOING ANY CHEATS

Or so thats what I keep seeing on a few threads.

If thats true than it needs fixed because it should only work if smite is loading up not when its unactive.

People are saying it runs no matter if you close smite while Hi_rez says its only up when you run smite.

It's the same thing with World of Warcraft and League of Legends too. You're not supposed to have cheat engine running while you have a multiplayer game on, whether you change anything or not. You agree to their right to view running programs for possible cheating - it's in the Terms of Service. Whether you read it or not is irrelevant, because you agreed to it, meaning you accept 100% what it says.

They have a right to stop all potential cheating before it happens - if they stopped it after it happened, it'd be too late. I personally don't mind because I don't need cheat engine.

ah.... you don't get what I am saying.

I DON'T CARE IF IT RUNS WHEN SMITE IS ON.

I am saying people are complaining that it still runs even with smite OFF or closed.

What I am saying is based on "What I have herd some people say"
People are saying they are getting banned because they HAVE THE CHEAT ENGINE but they are not using it for smite they have the cheat engine for another purpose either a game or for some other reason.

What I am saying is why should they get banned from smite if they do not have the cheat engine up when smite is on but its only on their computer???

Its like the law assuming you are guilty before you actually commit a crime.

I don't really care because like you said I don't have anything like that but I don't see why someone with that engine on their computer should get banned from smite if its not active while they are playing smite.

Basically its like owning a rifle.

You don't bring it too school but they are trying to get you in trouble for owning it when in reality you should only get in trouble if you bring it with you to that restricted place.

The restricted place for cheats would be when you load up smite, so if they are not loading up smite they should still be able to keep ANYTHING they downloaded without it effective smite.

If that was too hard to understand I simply ment :

You shouldn't get in trouble for owning something that you can legally own, you should only get in trouble if you use it illegally.

That is how I dealt with the situation.

Well, as far as the law assuming you're guilty before you commit a crime, that goes along with Conspiracy to Commit Murder, which could be applied here - conspiracy to cheat.

But the point is valid. I'd be careful about uninstalling the game - I've heard of people having problems reinstalling but it's probably just an issue of not completely deleting everything.

Ha lol good comeback, I'll give you that comeback. Theres that word conspiracy again :)

I have 3 laptops in my house right now, 1 of them which is the one I use to play smite is the only one I have smite working on as of this moment.

Smite did work on my other two but for some reason when i went to uninstall it then re-enstalled it it didn't work. I had that problem before and I had to keep re-installing.

The problem is when I have my other computers sitting for like a month or two without playing smite. When I try to get back on smite my other computers have to update 4 damn patches and it won't just update it in one patch instead it updates it all seperate which is why I have to uninstall it then re-install.

Lucky my main laptop works fine.

Just thought I'd add to this... conspiracy to commit murder, you have to show intent to actually do it, you have to have documented evidence that there is a specific plan in place and this needs to be obtained and you are still tried for it.

If someone has a cheat engine on their computer it doesn't automatically mean they are going to cheat on smite or have intention to. If the system in place detected any cheat engine doing something actively during a game of smite I am all for the ban hammer to come down hard!

Wow. Sometimes, people on forums (or anywhere actually) can be so locked on their oppinion so that they do not even notice what they are told.
What ICEN meant was, ffs, THEY ARE BANNING PEOPLE THAT ARE NOT
