Wow okay this whole conversation is making my head hurt so let me just say this:

Here's a scenario: This was not a discussion about an Arachne spoil, but rather, this was a discussion about the Arachne rework patch notes, and we were discussing how this ability seems to be a copy of Ellise's Rappel (or whatever it's called) from LoL, because we playtested it and it seems to do the exact same thing. (that part is important)

Would I think that the people complaining would be justified in complaining? Totally. I personally would not flip out, but I could respect why other players, especially LoL players, would have complaints.

But this is not the current scenario. This scenario is where we have people complaining that Arachne's ability is a copy, before patch notes are even released.

So not only haven't we playtested it, we don't even know what it does. Hell, we don't even know the name of it and people are already calling it a clone.

People. Spiders climb on walls. So, we have two spider champs/goddesses in two different MOBAs... If they can both climb on walls, that doesn't mean that the newer MOBA is "copying" from the older MOBA. It means they're staying true to the fact that spiders can.... climb on walls. That's all.

Oh my god guys really?!?! At least Arachne is getting a ******* rework, like it its new who cares if its a clone, play the game!! All this talk of which is better Dota, LoL or Smite makes me angry they're all totally different get over it and choose one and stay with it. I choose smite cause i like to play and i love mythology, I don't give a **** if Hi-Rez copies i just want to play the game. Get over it jeez.
