By balancing I mean if there is any way to make a 1v1 Joust League more counterable.
Currently I am in silver league and one thing what really annoys me is that there are almost everyfreakintime the same gods you joust against. Mostly our two high skill gods^^ (Freya, He Bo) and some gods like Isis,Vamana,Kali,Chronos get banned.
I think it would be a good idea if you ban at first 4 gods, and then choose five other gods.
These five gods are shown to the enemy( of course the enemy choose also five gods) and then you can decide which god you like to choose.
I think it would be better than hoping to face a god which is not that godd how yours.
(if you pcik vamana you dont want to face a freya or an isis)

So pls let me know what do you think about my idea and maybe add something :)
(sry for my english D:)
Of course Smite is not a 1v1 game!=)
Just another Loki haha =D

I would suggest having a VERY high amount of bans in solo 1v1. There are now 49(or is it 48?) gods. Only 2 will be used, which is only about 4% of total gods. You should have the opportunity to ban a LOT of gods. Maybe 3 or 4 bans.

As for choosing 5 other gods...meh. I don't think that'll do much. In the end it's still a mind game.

If hirez wishes to scrap a game mode its 1v1, it has the least fun element. Bizarre and mirror match ups cannot be avoided and half of the gods are not suited for this type of game play. I never enjoy 1v1 joust even if it ends in a win.

However, I think they keep it because streamers utilize it so often. It's a rapid game mode that ends quickly.

20 minutes left until you have to swap the stream? 1v1.

Want to give away a prize? Two viewers 1v1. Winner gets it.

Want to practice a god against a friend? 1v1.

It's more for testing/troll purposes than an actual play-to-win gamemode.

I agree though, IF one is to be scrapped, it'll be 1v1

Yes I think also its nearly impossible even if there exist more bans there would be again the same problem, for example vamana, isis ,zeus, freya , he bo ... Would be banned and then people would just play poseidon, loki, change...what i am already doin :D

I agree with more bans in a 1v1. I mean if I go as a strong physical like an assassin, its easier to win against mages than warriors. If i played loki, Id ban the broken gods where i can Never win. Like tyr, sometimes freya, hercules, and kali
