All the details aside, I think there are enough selfish, jerky players that create a trend, and I like to think of it in a simple way...not wholly accurate, since I understand the details behind what people above are saying, but here it is:


  • Kill-Steal: The negative way of saying it
  • Kill-Secure: The positive way of saying it


I really only play assault, and I'd say 95+% of my matches never bring up the "KS" accusation. When there are jerks, it's usually accusing others for diving, accusing others of not helping when they dive, or something about their build.

That's pretty much how I feel about it. I know there is supposed to be a difference, but the terms basically add up to the same thing.
