When Vamana ults near Arachne, he gets a notification saying "Squish the Bug: Stomp on Arachne." When he does so, he gets...I dunno, a small buff, or some other small reward and maybe a one-liner.

Doesn't this sound like a good idea?

Odin kills Loki = "Parenting with Odin"

Apollo vs Artemis = "Sibling Rivalry"

Hades kills Thanatos = "You're fired"

Bakasura kills Bacchus = "Long Pig"

Ares/Vulcan vs Cupid = "Father's Day"

Or that they actually say some random stuff when they see each other if they have something in common that is not a vgs command.

Sobek and he bo talking about river's, zeus and oding stuff, guan yu ares about war,etc. There is so much

Vulcan is not Cupid's father and he is not equivalent of Ares in Roman mythology. You probably thought about Mars - Roman god of war.

Do you really think a chubby babee like Cupid knows that Ares is his real father? Awkward...

Anyway, I'd figure he was raised more by Vulcan than his actual birth parents.

Also:

Thanatos kills Mercury = "No one outruns death!" = gain 8% speed buff for five minutes.

Not sure about buffs, but the random dialogues between certain gods would be pretty awesome. Something like the clashes from the game Injustice: Gods Among Us and how each character has a quote special for certain other characters.

Actual buffs would be very awkward from a gameplay perspective. Than kills Mercury, gets a buff, kills him again with the help of his buff, the buff renews... But the dialogue thing would be nice, and cosmetic buffs (like LoL) that are viewed again in the 'Top Accolades' area of the win/loss screen.
Isis, Ra, Anubis should get one for each other.
Ymir and Odin
Ao Kuang kills Ne Zha: Wheres you lotus NOW, brat!
Loki kills Fenrir/Hel: Parenting with Loki
Any Norse god kills Ymir: And the world was born!
Fenrir kills Ymir: (something about ragnarok)
Anyone kills their parent: Throwing a tantrum.

One of the interactions suggested on Reddit I found pretty funny.

Ares to Cupid: Ares: "I am your father!" Cupid:"NOOOO!"

I mostly find it funny cause I imagine their voices during the lines.

Also there was a good thread about the VGS (or whatever its called) system.

One of the suggestions was: Save yourself/Go on without me, which alot of tank players would've liked.

There was also one for saying Nope.
