Mainly, that stupid combo where he throws a fireball where you currently are, before using in the direction you're going. Most of the time I hear, "just dodge it!" I don't see how you can dodge it when the overall radius of the fireball + cloud of gas is huge. You could always use your escape, but that's not always an option.

Normally, I don't have problems with a short cool-down stun, but those are usually dodge-able, or aren't followed up by an insane amount of damage.

Seriously, am I the only one who's questioning a 20-sec cooldown on his ult? What if he had a 2 sec delay between ultimates?

People don't want to admit it but there is no way to dodge it.
No god is fast enough to move out of the AOE without using a skill.

His fumes is already a big AOE combine that with his AOE ULt and you now have a 2x AOE you have to stay out of which is pretty much impossible.

If you are playing against a good agni then you will get hit with 2 ults, the first ult will stun you forcing you too get hit by 2 ults and the 3 ult has to be predicted based on your movements.

There is not much countering agni simply because of his damn ult.
he can camp and poke you for years and not waste mana.

There are ways too counter a nub agni because nubs just die thats the counter lol.

But its alomst impossible to counteract a good agni who makes no mistakes and camps back with their ults.

The only way to counter Agni is to get fed ahead of him, or get lucky and dodge a few ults. He's only really scary when he's able to chain 3 together, so breaking the chain will nearly ensure a safe laning phase for a while, as one ult every 20 seconds actually isn't that bad unless he's fed. Additionally, despite having the second fastest dash, only aside from , he's one of the squishiest mages in the game, so if you have a high burst jungler, have him babysit the lane for a few kills. Past that, no matter what items he has, if he goes anywhere close to you, wreck him.

I agree though, the Ult-->THEN Fumes combo is pretty cheesy, but overpowered nonetheless. This is kind of why Agni is one of the two garunteed midlaners unless banned - it's pretty much Agni and Poseidon in tournaments.

Poseidon hasn't been that popular lately. Zhong Kui and Isis are easily as common as Poseidon is at the moment.

Counter to Agni normally need the following criteria to be met or stuff :
Got CC? CC the freak out of him. He can't haul his butt out if you CC him, however, it normally ends with who can burn down who first(This is risky if he has all three meteors as he can bomb himself or he can just prance away.)
Got Aegis? Not the best choice but if you see that your gonna get bombed, use it.
Got Leap? (Explanation Not Needed) But hey why not, leap to the side or front. In my experience, Agni's tend to aim at the front and the back to block off or shoot at direction to block off escape paths(Glowy Thing Appears When Meteor Flies)
Got God Like Reaction Time : Or you're standing at the edge of the Fire Ball, when the fire ball falls, you can see that dinstinctive red spot in the center, run out of it if you can or just try to stand as far away from the noxious fumes as possible.
Buy Defenses : I find Agni doing a considerably less amount of damage if he can't pen you, but hey, that could just be me.

This is all I have to offer from my pocket of ideas. Seriously, I do not think there many ways to dodge that ulti. It cost no mana, recharges every 20 seconds and has a large radius.
