Best budget mid-range GPU is GeForce 750Ti with 2gb ddr5 ram. Anyways amd radeon hd 7750 is best evergreen economy buy. Make sure you buy gddr5 memory cards with higher number of stream processors.

For your lag, you're probably going to want to look into getting a better CPU than what you have there. It's a pretty outdated one that'll have trouble keeping up with a lot of gaming these days. You don't have to get an insanely high-end one. You could get a decent one for $100-$120 or so, just depends on which one you want to get. Of course, with the price, I'm talking about an AMD processor since you already have an AMD one, and that's what I use.

If Your system lags only while gaming than its more likely a GPU issue. A good GPU would remove such lags. As far as I know amd X2 processor uses am2/Am2+ motherboard socket. You can replace with a better compatible processor. In case ur board supports am3 socket it is possible to upgrade to latest amd processors.

After i upgraded my Ram all system lag went away. I can serf the web and such without a problem at all. Its only after i have opened smite that i get lag. The picture is blurred and i takes forever to get everything to render. I am assuming i need to get a GPU?
P.S thank you for all the help!!!

That's what system Ram does. It lets you open/close applications faster giving a more snappy browsing experience. The moment you get into a graphic intensive application it's all about GPU. Also, smite in no way require a high-end system to rum smoothly. It just scores 4 out 10 when it comes to graphic intensive games available in the market.

I think those numbers are from windows experience index.score of 2 is bare minimum to run windows only. Upgrade ur system graphics.

Damn. I have a dual core 2.33 ghz processor. 4gb of ram. And an on board laptop graphics card. I run an amazing 15fps. How is your beast of a computer(in comparison) not running it. Like wut.
