Not so much and idea but more of a question.. Why is it that every other god in the game has an ultimate that hits more than one person. Neiths ultimate says that it hits the target through all obstacles but another player can take the hit if they are in the way of the arrow but where any other gods ultimate can hit more than one player I feel that if the arrow is traveling to its target and another god happens to be in the way it should hit that god and the original target of the ultimate not sure if anyone else feels the same about this but I would like to hear your thoughts as well

The fact that Neith's ultimate can hit a target from across the map, as well as doing that much damage and stun is very powerful alone. Also, Neith's ultimate is the only ability in the game (except Guardian of Olympus) that is locked onto a target. The thing about Smite's perspective, the third person, is that everything is an aimed ability and everything can be dodged, whilst in other MOBA's most of the abilities/attacks are locked onto the enemies. If Neith's arrow couldn't be blocked by other players, that would be the only ability in the game that is guaranteed to hit an enemy, and it would make it unable to counter in any way, with the exception of Aegis Amulet. Also, because the Smite battleground is so big aand you are able to move a lot + the fact that the arrow is global makes it easy to hit anyways. The only time a Neith will have problems hitting the original target is in a teamfight or in a gamemode like Arena and Assault.

So no, I wouldn't say that it's underpowered, Neith is a VERY common pick in competitative, partly for her ultimate global precence. If it wasn't powerful enough people wouldn't pick her that often.

No it is not underpowered. It's powerful! It was OP when her Weaves acted like wards, but it's still powerful. Although is the only locked-target ability in the game, it's still a skillshot: Anyone can get in the way and protect the almost-dead enemy.


As VultokoFredrik said above, she is also picked A LOT on competitive. She is the second best ADC in the game( Apollo being the first, and Anhur the third).
