Its a horse-man.
A mythical beast.
A CENTAUR.
You should be more worried about how he will be played instead of aesthetics.
Im just glad they actually made him a centaur instead of something else.

True, true. I am hyped about him being a centaur, that said! If he plays great, I'll be fine with him.

I haven't gotten the time to use him yet, but what is his ult like? Does he go into the air, or does he stay on the ground?

His ult is okay. You stay on the ground and fire three shots that pierce walls with fairly far range. It's basically Anhur's only you can't die during.

SmiteFire & Smite

Smite is an online battleground between mythical gods. Players choose from a selection of gods, join session-based arena combat and use custom powers and team tactics against other players and minions. Smite is inspired by Defense of the Ancients (DotA) but instead of being above the action, the third-person camera brings you right into the combat. And, instead of clicking a map, you use WASD to move, dodge, and fight your way through the detailed graphics of SMITE's battlegrounds.
