I was rather scared to be honest that hel would be changed forever. Actually just a mild nerf. Hooray for chicken wings!

Post your thoughts on new hel below: I like the model, nerf was justified

its not a nerf it was a balance because when you cast a skill the opposite skill doesnt go on cool down anymore.

Overall I'm very much looking forward to it - her kit is the same, and although the scalings have received a reduction, she has a true passive now and her ultimate will benefit the whole team. In addition, farewell shared cooldowns!

As for her "looking like a toy," she never had any clothes in the first place - she was just ugly.

I really hope that disc is gone.

LOL YES. That'd be hilarious xD

Can't wait to play the new Hel! New skin, even more teamfight potential via new ultimate.. Do you think her early-game will be negatively affected by the nerf? I'm interested in solo-laning specifically, as that is my go-to role for her in Conquest.

I don't play Hel but I must admit she looks a lot better than before. I think her new art style fits with the look of Smite overall.

SmiteFire & Smite

Smite is an online battleground between mythical gods. Players choose from a selection of gods, join session-based arena combat and use custom powers and team tactics against other players and minions. Smite is inspired by Defense of the Ancients (DotA) but instead of being above the action, the third-person camera brings you right into the combat.
