THANATOS' KIT HAS BEEN RELEASED!
Harvester of Souls (Passive)
Enemy gods within his ultimate’s execute threshold are revealed to Thanatos. Dealing the killing blow to enemies also empowers Thanatos, granting him health based on the max hp of his target. HP Restore (Gods): 20% of target’s max HP. HP Restore (Minions): 10% of target’s max HP.
Death Scythe
Thanatos flings his scythe at an enemy, dealing damage and an additional 10% of the target’s current health against enemy gods. Enemies hit are slowed for 3s and heal Thanatos based on damage dealt. Consumes 10% of Thanatos’ max hp when used. Damage: 100/170/240/310/380 (+60% of your physical power). Bonus Damage (Gods): 10% of current HP. Healing: 50% of damage dealt. Slow: 20%. Cost: 25/35/45/55/65. Cooldown: 13s.
Scent of Death
Thanatos senses death, removing and gaining immunity to slow effects and gaining move speed and physical penetration for 6s. His move speed bonus doubles when moving toward an enemy god within the instant kill threshold of his ultimate. By Consumes 5% of Thanatos’ max hp when used. Penetration: 15/20/25/30/35. Move Speed: 10/15/20/25/30%. Bonus Speed (Low Health): 10/15/20/25/30%. Cost: 20/25/30/35/40. Cooldown: 13s.
Soul Reap
Thanatos swings his scythe, dealing physical damage and silencing enemies he hits. Thanatos moves at a reduced rate while swinging. Consumes 5% of Thanatos’ max hp when used. Damage: 100/150/200/250/300 (+80% of your physical power). Silence Duration: 0.5/.75/1.00/1.25/1.5s. Cost: 25/30/35/40/45. Cooldown: 15s.
Hovering Death
Thanatos flaps his wings and goes airborne for 5s, unable to be hit. During this time, he move unimpeded with additional speed and can click to pounce to his target location, dealing damage. Enemies below a health threshold are instantly killed. All others are stunned. Consumes 15% of Thanatos’ max hp when used. Damage: 90/125/160/195/230 (+80% of your physical power). Kill HP Threshold: 24/28/32/36/40%. Stun Duration: 1s. Bonus Move Speed: 100%. Cost: 40/50/60/70/80. Cooldown: 90s.

It has been said by Hi-Rez that Thanatos will be the next god. He will be a physical assassin that will use his health, along with mana, as a resource for using abilities and attacking. He is able to jungle according to Hi-Rez.

As of right now, not much is know about Thanatos, the personification of death, but it is said that more will be more information released on him on Monday and Tuesday, and I will be sure to update this thread with more on Thanatos when the information is revealed.

However, remember that all of this is tentative to change, and they may pull another Hercules on us and change the next god to be someone else.

Thanatos might be super strong. Since he uses his health with his skills. You could say he might come out op. But he will also be easy to kill since his health would go down each time he uses a skill

Its going to be a wait and see thing because all we can do is imagine what he would be like.
Everyone will imagine it being very strong purely because he has the word assassin tied to him and assassin just screams crazy burst damage lol.

To make up for his health loss when using abilities, his abilities would either need to hit hard and/or have lifesteal to maintain sustainability.

MadDanny, I believe you miss use the word overpowered there. You can think Loki is op sure but you are not op for the single reason of having high burst. :)

It was not bash you. Just would like if the term op is used correct since a lot people just throw around with it. If a certain thing is strong. Lets say Loki. Omg he 100 to 0 me op god. Well here we have a god which purpose is to 100 to 0 if he stays too long his dead. So he is bqlanced around a certain play playstyle. What i try to say ia that we have to look at tthings as a whole picture and not just ppixes to determent if there is something wrong with the balance :)
