I don't want it to be Greek mythology 24/7 because of popular media and how it's all Percy Jackson.

I would love to see other cultures gods. Like some of africa more of asia, and of corse south america, such as Iemanja she's the god of ocean for one of the manys brasilians tribe in the past, until today every year there is a festival where people give flowers and foods to her. its beatifull, i know we have 3 waters gods, but still, would be nice since is she; :P

What 3 water gods? He bo, Poseidon and? Do you consider Ao kuang water god (dragon king of the eastern seas)

Yeah, he resides in a palace underwater. Even though his abilities in smite are weather-based.

Yeah, technically four. In Chinese, Ao's usually addressed as 海龙王 or literally meaning Ocean Dragon King. So he technically owns the entire eastern ocean.

I have no clue about Percy Jackson, but I've always liked Greek and Roman history because I'm European so I tend to stick to the mythos I know!! As I've said before I don't really know much about Mayan or Asian mythologies so I can't help much on those, I do know alot on Greek and Roman (a little Norse - although I call it Scandinavian because I'm half Swedish!) so those are the ones I like to see! =D

I'm happy for them to bring out other ones and I'll play as them (loving Egyptian btw) but I can't really say I want to see those gods because I don't know them!

I think Medusa would count for the game even though not technically a god but neither is Hercules, he's a demi-god but no-one worshiped him or anything like that!!!
I don't really know where the line would be drawn between some of the most famous mythological characters and gods!!

SmiteFire & Smite

Smite is an online battleground between mythical gods. Players choose from a selection of gods, join session-based arena combat and use custom powers and team tactics against other players and minions. Smite is inspired by Defense of the Ancients (DotA) but instead of being above the action, the third-person camera brings you right into the combat.
