I am talking about the old old one.. like, when he's like a super old man with long sleeves and stuff.

Before I start, I want to clarify what I mean by "intimidating" and "scary"

When I say this, I mean like hearing Loki use Aimed Strike. It makes you fear him and suddenly get very.. well, scared. Now let me explain this using He Bo.

The old He Bo was something that you feared. He only had two voice lines, one happened to be a yell when he used his ultimate, and as lame as it was, it was something that was very scary. The best way to describe this noise is this...

"OAAAAAAAAAAAAH"

And let me tell you, when you heard that, it was game, ****ing, over. Because you just saw a weak old man just whoop your ***, and he made this weird *** noise while doing it. He ****ing wrecked you, and you felt it.

Now it sounds like he's having an ****** and is really no more intimidating then say, getting your bagel out of the toaster.

His second voice line would be what used to be called Flood Waters (Now Atlas of this something river) and it was the same as this one, "Let the waters rise!"

But let me tell you. The way he said it. He sounds very old, yet deadly, and even though you may have mistaken that voice for something a woman might have said (Because it kinda sounded like it), the way he said it made you think "OH **** RUN"

Now it's rather lame, and he does not sound old yet deadly, instead it sounds more like, letting the waters rise was a stroll in the park, not something that would totally annihilate his enemies.

When Old He Bo let the waters rise, you knew he was out to get you. New He Bo, it's sorta meh. It is not scary nor intimidating.

Maybe I am dwelling too much on the past, but I am that guy who missed Old Sun Wukong and Old He Bo.

And I have He Bro, so I don't care either way.

But it sucks how, I quote from a post on reddit, "He Bo went from "humble old man" to "overdesigned Chinese sorcerer with spikey-crab arms for no discernible reason attached to either his lore or gameplay""

I can still remember old He Bo, *Sentimental tears*.

I loved his voice pack too, way more intimidating. Not as intimidating as Ymir though.

I liked old He Bo better. I think it was better homage to his lore than this guy, who seems to be, granted, a better video game character, than a lore character. It seems too cartoonish to me.
